Tour Plan of 1 Day Jinja Tour

Have breakfast at the hotel in Kampala and after, drive eastwards to Jinja through the Kampala-Jinja highway. En-route, your trip includes a stop visit at Ssezibwa Falls in Mukono about 45kms from Kampala. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the falls and learn about its unique cultural significance. After, drive to Mabira Forest for a quick nature walk for you spot some of the amazing forest birds and several monkeys.

From Mabira Forest, proceed to Jinja where the source of the Nile is. At Jinja, your exploration will start after lunch then you will go for a boat cruise to a point that is said to divide the source of the Nile and Lake Victoria/white water rafting experience to one of the rapids at the source of the Nile. Your next visit will be Kagulu Hill, Busonga King’s palace and if time allows, visit the Rippon falls then you will be driven back to Kampala.

Amazingly, you can also extend your stay to cover a wide range of exciting activities including kayaking, horseback riding, sunset cruise on River Nile, bungee jumping to kiss the River Nile water, visit the Speke Monument as well as mangabey tracking, birding, biking, zip-lining in Mabira Forest and a lot more.
